another hit album for the guy, man, that dude knows how to write catchy songs!

this is from the "secret-private" show at the Troubadour a few weeks back. The song's called Perfectly Lonely.

The singing is a bit icky, you can tell it's still not on the pocket, but still. I really dig the guitar tone on the solo (obviously you gotta go past the cel phone recording>youtube compression)

Btw, according to John, this record won't be Blues based, it's more rock oriented.

Jack White is a great guitarist and musician, but I don't like the way he sings. I prefer Mayer.

Mayer doesn't have a great voice, but to me is pleasant and fits hist stuff like a glove.
