My local guitar store carried them back in the 80s. I would avoid it.

What guitar store in Michigan? I bought one in the 80s from Bay Music. Only one I've ever seen. Not a good tremolo in my opinion. Nice having the fine tuners but it didn't stay in tune and the saddles moved around if you tried to dive bomb the tremolo. I think i paid $80 with locking nut back then.

I am the one that pushed Keith into the gym. I was working at dynamic health club in the late 80s. Gave him a free month membership and he was hooked. We became good friends since I lived at the music store.

I bought a few Kramers in that store. Mark Roggman sold me some of his gear, he was the guitar tech. Brian was the keyboard tech, he has had some health issues lately. I think they had a benefit show for him recently.

Last time I saw Keith he was working at Firestone tires.
Only talked to him a few minutes.

Yeah, those came out later.

The first ones I saw didn't have fine tuners.

That almost looks like the Rockinger unit. Jesus....the nightmares that system gave me. Awful! The strings would unwind at the ball ends and frequently snap right on the rollers after 5 minutes of playing.

All I got are nudes from the locker room.
Can't be posted here says the rules.
Haha

When I got my Eddie VH ernie ball #151 I took it in and keith played it for like the whole day on a 5150 cause he said this amp and guitar where paired together so he wanted to see if the guitar made a difference or vise versa. They always had a couple kramers that I wanted to buy but never did.

Dynamic Health club....ha! Oh the old days!

I got my first Kramer there. Focus. Great guitar. When the Vandenberg model came out I ordered a red one. Now that was a killer guitar. Plus Bay Music was the only ESP dealer back in the 80s. Good times.
