Sorry man, couldnt resist! But in all honesty, best of luck finding someone who will let go of theirs. Its a magical amp and once you find one, Im sure you will agree!

I know right?!? Every amp Ive had in the past had something I didnt like about it. Not this one. And Im way past the honeymoon phase at this point.

The only reasons ever sell mine are:

1) Catastrophic accident and I could no longer play guitar
2) I needed to buy an organ on the black market
3) My house was going to be foreclosed on

I don't think #3) would be a good justification for selling...after all, the cabs are so oversized, you could prolly curl up inside and take a snooze......and the heat from the tubes should keep you plenty warm!

As for #2), unless the "organ" was a vintage Hammond B3, I wouldn't.....(he he) :rawk:

Just kiddin, yeah, I know it's a long shot, but I stupidly just missed one the other day. What's really cool is I live in Michigan, about 5 miles from the Egnater location, so I'm hoping they have a spare one lying around (forget about going through dealers!). Just kidding again, but I heard they have a great sound room to try out the modules before you buy - I'm hoping I can actually take my guitar and cab there. So, go ahead, have fun at my expense, :D , but I shall soon have one, one way or another!!!!

You won't get mine!! Best amp I've had without question. Honeymoon phase is long gone, but this amp just amazes me every time I fire it up. I was just downstairs playing through the SL2 and it just sounds so darn good.

I've had VHT's, Budda's, Marshalls, etc., and although they are/were great amps, the Mod 50 is the one for me.
 
I got rid of my MOD50












Only to replace it with a M4! :D Why have 2 modules when you can have 4 :lol: :LOL:
 
Yeah, I think the only reasons anyone ever gets rid of a MOD50 is because either 1. they're dead, 2. they want to go rack and get an M4, or 3. they have some kind of serious disease, and even then they've probaly lost limbs before selling off the MOD50. Good luck in your search, though. The guys are really cool, I know they'd welcome you as they did me (I'm about an hour and a half, and I've been there like 15 times). Go for it!
