Nice observations by the OP.....I've noticed everyone of them mentioned and thought the same thing. Especially the "Time sensitive special price" .....really get a kick out of that one.

I'm on the fence about this one. I would really like to buy it, but funds are tight and I need to be sure I'm getting value for my $$$. Any chance that a member with no thread writing skills, and a large post count, could step up and claim original ownership, and tell us how he only sold it to you in order to fund the build of a one off custom thread? I think that is the push I need to get completely irresponsible with some dead presidents.

Other things should be eliminated as well. For instance, people routinely trading/selling stuff they get cheap from the forum for profit. I think that's misuse of the forum. If you bought something used and got a good deal on it then pass the deal along because the simple fact that you bought something, had it shipped, used/tried it, and are reselling it only diminishes the value.

Seriously? Don't be such a sheep. This is not mister Roger's Neighborhood. Capatilism is great and freedom is even greater.

I've made a ton of money scoring stuff for cheap on craigslist, to just come home and repost and sell at market value. Heck, I had a Triple rec halfstack sold to someone, before I even had picked it up from the CL poster that put it up for WAY TOO cheap.

As the saying goes " early bird gets the worm."

Is this one priced to sell?

Yes, if by that you mean priced a couple hundred over the highest price one sold for on ebay within the past 6 months and paypal gift PLEASE. Yeah, you've got a few grand to throw around on threads, but you're probably too dumb to have any idea about what they're going for and I doubt you've any means of determining going prices for these kinds of things anyway, internet forum user. Somewhere around thread view 5157 someone's going to pull that trigger. Might as well be you.
