so the main thing is the new amp switcher kahayan 8x4, didn't and don't need midi, and really it's a bitch you got your sends then you got your returns and then like more sends, and i don't have patience and am kind of dumb,

I'm getting a headache just looking at it......I'm with ya. Most I ever do is 2 heads, 1 slave amp with some FX and 3 cabs..just using an old Boss Chorus for the split.

yeah it's 5 heads currently and honeslty i am out of ideas for another amp that would truly be different

only thing i could think to add would be an dumble clone from ceriatone, everything else is pretty well covered, it is a nightmare and i'm not good at much but nightmares i'm especially not good at

and if this was a live rig, i'd never have all this shite, it'd be digital all the way, for recording why not!, you know?

Yeah, recording is a cinch with AXE and Kemper, and others....but I'd always take an amp for my gigs. When I had an AX8 it was nice but then I'd play one of my amps...just not the same. And, to run it the best way I'd have to use it with a power amp and 4x12 anyway, at that point it's the same as lugging around my head/cab. Haha no easy solution.

i like it, i don't have any need for more than 1 cabinet at a time, or midi, nor do i have 8 cabinets, so the ampete was an option but not necessary

there's a midi version i assume you know for the kahayan as well, only still 1 cab at a time, but that one has an insert for an attenuator and probably other features i don't remember, oh yeah a tuner out, which would be kind of nice frankly

still works great for my needs, just recording shitty music, the converted garage guitar god thing in my house

so i can't complain, there's one midi version on evil bay currently, starting bid at 625 (50 shipping) so save a grand and have a really decent unit
