June 30th 2006, #467. You know when you run into a store to get something, and when you come out your buddies have taken off and moved the car so you can't find them? On June 19th I went to Ireland with my brother, I come back and log on to HCAF, and there's NOBODY there.

I've got no extra cash for gear right now...so I've been staying away to avoid GAS

This may be a big reason for it and many that are still working are probably working a lot harder to make less money. I know I am. I used to wonder how many man hours were lost by companies paying employees to work while they were on forums all day.

I'm still here.... alot of the H.O.M. guys still post, but nowhere near as often as they used to....

been here since day 4.

I just came on to see KP.

It seems most topics have been discussed. There has been no anticipation of anything new coming out. When I joined, Mark IVs were the talk of many threads.

I miss the old days of forums when there were great jams and lots of excellent players participating.

I know I wont have time to sit around on facebook , within about 2 weeks my fiance are finalizing a purchase of a Pizzeria here in Durham/Chapel Hill NC . I will be the sole employee until she comes in after work . I was unemployed for almost 6 mos . then got work and Laid off after 3 mos. So , I remember hearing about when all the manhattan co's started blocking myspace , forums & a lot of shopping websites because women were shopping online . Around the holidays with not having a lot of time , can you imagine the loss of man hrs just to holiday shopping online ? Then add up the regular man hrs lost ,just in manhattan ? Wish me luck . This has been a long time dream of owning/operating a pizzeria . I went to Cooking school (The CIA in upstate NY) and was a cook/chef for 12yrs and left the buissness and said I would only work in the industry if I was to own my own pizzeria .... :D SO ... no more time for forums ...
