setting up my new rack today...cleaned up the dusty old intellifex and the rocktron pro gap V2.0 preamp abd took them out of the old rack they were in with the fender m-80 pro head.
don't plan to use the preamp much but I am going to buy a power amp for it just for shits and giggles and as a backup/amp I can take home back to South Carolina for the summer and leave the mesa here in Dallas at my sister's house
but WOW the intellifex has awesome tonal quality and is much much more transparent in my loop than the G major...a lot easier to set up using the parallel loop than it was with the G major (I know they are made for series loops)...but the rack equipment is starting to look good.
the final piece (the rack case itself) is arriving today from Carvin. ordered one from them.
and at first I thought about getting rid of the midi buddy controller...but it works GREAT! it doesnt look that cool but it already is set up with the intellifex and who cares about looks but functionality when it comes to a foot controller.
