I was having a clear out of all my "parts" that I have accumulated over the past 15 years or so and found my old SD Holdsworth humbucker, so I swapped out the JB in one of my strats for it.

I had forgotten what a great pickup it is, it's like a smoother version of the JB with a bit more in the mids and definitely smoother in the highs than the JB. I'm guessing the dual screws help smooth it out. I think you can still get them from SD’s custom shop.

Just thought I would share, always nice to find stuff you forgot about a long time ago.

Dibs if you ever want to sell it Marc! Tony (maiden_fan) had one for sale a short while ago but i missed out on it :doh: :)

Pretty sure that one is JB coils with dual screws and a alnico II mag.
