I love how I can change the characteristics of a Humbucker or Single Coils with this pedal.
The recent made Pickup Boosters, have a O to 25 dB boost, while the older Pickup Boosters ( SFX-01) starts at 6 dB to 25 dB .
I have one as the first thing on my pedalboard for pickup enhancement and one at the front to drive two 12ax7 tubes in my Digitech 2112 and the 12ax7's inside my VHT Valvulators 12ax7's tubes harder .
I don't need to buy new pickups.
If I feel my medium powered pickups are too soft and weak, this pedal will make them stronger and louder.
