A (extremely) quick demo of the Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbucker pickups. More like a Whole Lotta Metal. These pickups are surprisingly awesome. They are low/vintage output, but through a high gain amp they are screamers! :cheers:

Signal path;

Gibson Les Paul Standard ('93)
Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbucker Set
Fortin King Killer (Marshall 2203kk modded)
Mesa 4x12 Recto
Shure sm57

That sounded bad ass! I don't want to say surprising for low output pups but those sounded great! :rock:

Shit man, that's heavy as hell. It's fun to watch you play, you totally rock the f out!

Damn! Thanks for sharing. Always like to hear pickups used in applications for which they're not really designed. They sound killer with those KT88s...great low end and clarity even with the high gain.

I really dig these pickups. I was sceptical of how the would do for metal, as their output is low. But they fared well. Had to push the preamp gain, but not too much more than about normal.

Right?! They are punch ass hell. I wish I could have captured the live tone as well in a band mix. I took them to rehearsal, and at band volume, I had no problems keeping up. Clear as a bell, and stayed up to par with the other guitarist who was using the SD AHB-3 (Mick Thomson) Pickups. They have a hot rodded, old school feel through the Fortin modded Marshall.

Your videos always Kill man!! :thumbsup:

Long time no see! Thank you for the kind words.

Dude, that sounded way cool. My favorite pickup is only 8.9K. I love it with high-ish gain and low tuning.

Thanks killer! I'm definitely impressed with these, and plan to use them going forward. I'm going to have get more guitars if I keep finding pickups I like. :D
