I'm not hauling thirty of them. Usually it's one or one and a spare ( CNG) for a Grunsky meter bypass rig.

Smoking around gas is a lot safer than people think it is. I could go into why, but frankly people are retarded so it's better they think that.

Just seeing that guy hailing ass and smoking cracked me up.
I’ve never been a smoker, but delivered many gallons of LP. Enough blow off from filling that I wouldn’t want to risk it.
I remember the degenerates that would fill those 20# tanks where I drove out of.
Birds would build nests in the “tank house” and those fuckers would freeze them.

Ill admit, the gas and pressure from the hose saved me from more than a few dogs…and bees.

LEL of natural gas is 4-14%. Propane is 2-10%.

I’m not going into detail here on the open forum, but I’ve had bosses/admins shaking their heads more than once because I had a lit smoke hanging out of my mouth. I’m not sure how you become a supervisor without knowing the basics, well, yes I am. That’s a different story.

When I had a diesel plow truck I’d always get a yahoo or two giving me shit for leaving it running while I refueled.
It’s below zero and snowing, fuck off. Once the equipment is running, it stays running until I’m done

About 25 years ago I was cleaning carpets and a dude chewed me out about the emissions the engine in the van was making while we were working. I just stared blankly at him so that a perceptive man would know I thought he sounded like a dumbass and so that angry guy would feel his point had been made. The owner of the truck just laughed when I told him about it.

This kind of thing is why I choose not to live in democrat run states. They also hate loud pipes on a motorcycle whereas in Texas I can make the bike as loud as I want. They also like breed specific legislation whereas in TX you are barred from implementing that kind of stuff. Some people still like to fight dogs and chickens down here. I don't really approve but I do like the dogs and a good fighting cock can really protect a flock from predators.
