Just because people get older does not also mean they also mature. There are such things as adult cry babies wanting everything their own way. Chugg is just a manipulative manbaby that will end up permanently banned here by his own doing eventually. If dino can get permabanned for arguing with a mod then I suspect the ban hammer is soon to strike again.

sadly not surprised by the kindergarten behavior and widespread butthurt, however I am surprised that the mods are getting even more of it directly in their DMs.

Entitlement-based complaints seem to come in waves, much as the way "natural oscillations" often occur. :LOL:

The greater the degree of freedom, the more licence there is to protest so in the interests of the former we're willing to cop the hit as a "necessary" price therefor... with varying degrees of patience from mod to mod.

You know how it goes - as long as peeps don't blatantly (not sarcastically) disrespect the mods, we'll accommodate them.

Given the nature of OT, which is likely the source of many of the complaints and requests for punishment of other members (very totalitarian IMO), it's a shame adults are unable to deal with it, or work it out themselves, publicly or privately...without involving mods.


As an often active participant in OT General, I can only imagine the piles of crap mods have to deal with.

I used to watch some Gundam stuff, but it always got way too complicated to follow and dramatic.
It took me like a hundred times of watching Akira to figure out what was going on, only to realize I still have no idea.
I love the 80s/90s anime. Newer stuff just got too childish and ridiculous for me. How many kinds of ninjas do you need, Naruto?

Only two, if you ask me.

My first experience with it was getting up for football practice turning on the tv and having my mind blown. Never experienced Japanese anime. That was in the early 80’s sometime. I might’ve teared up when Roy Fokker died… the books were excellent.
