Should I buy Peters Format 7 & sell Pro Dual Channel or keep my Pro Dual Channel?

You can message James,but the way I understand it is he will make you what you want based on his design.
He's very cool and easy. Very helpful and informative.
If it was me,I'd just ask for a single channel of brutality and trust him to do his magic.
And IMO his new faceplate design is his best yet,shown on the replicus in the aforementioned amp on Reverb.

I think James was considering a new single channel design, but I don’t know how far he got with it. I wasn’t in a place to order one from him when he told me about it last year. It seems like he’s usually got a few irons in the fire with new designs and tweaks.

I've sat on this for a couple of days and decided to not get the Format 7 and keep what I have. I don't think the Reptilicus is going to be significantly different sounding from my Vega to be worth trading out. The main thing I'd be trading would be size & weight. If I end up with a different or 2nd Peters amp I'd want one of the higher gain Fire Hammer or Plasma Blade channel.
