Got an opportunity to buy this for a decent price, about $500 US.
It's a 2570E I believe, MIJ J-Craft.
Great neck, good fun metal shredder.
I wasn't necessarily looking for another guitar, but I wouldn't necessarily turn this down either.
(I've got an older Korean Kramer that I barely touch, that's the only other Floyd style guitar I've had).
Should I grab it?

Lol.
Let me rephrase the question - what's the going rate of these things?
From a bit of Internet research there seems to be the entry level RG's, the 1 series, 2 series and 3 series.
I know f*ck all about Ibanez.

Prestige guitars are the top of the line, besides J. Custom and some of the signature series. They are superior to the newer Indonesian made Premium stuff.

From a quick eBay search it seems these go between $700-$1000 on average.

J Craft is nice stuff. Grab it, it'll probably surprise you.

Only if you can prevent yourself from calling it a "shred-stick" in the future.

I picked up an RG1570 from GC a few weeks ago for $550. No trem bar or case but was in fantastic shape. Little did I know that when I replaced the bar that someone put an Edge 3 bridge on it. It should've had the Edge Pro. Found one on eBay half the price new. GC didn't even suspect it.

I put a Duncan Jb into the bridge pos while swapping and it's a killer player.

Iended up selling mine for $45o with case and it took 2 months to sell FWIW
