Should I do a Halloween Giveaway / Contest ???

I've got a EQD Ghost Echo Clone I could let go for the endeavor .... I've dubbed it the Specter Reflecter

but I want to do a real contest of sorts .... instead of me just running the number generator and counting post # 's

any contest ideas worth mentioning we could do ..... and keep it fair across the board ????

You could do a best Costume contest thing but participants would have to somehow prove it is them and not a stock/random/internet photo

Then, maybe get to a point, Halloween night maybe where you add a poll and let R-T's vote?

yeah I don't think that will work ...

since this is the last contest / giveaway I'll probably do .... maybe I'll try to include " anyone who's bought a Griffin Analog pedal in the past ...

that will be easy ...... I'll just scroll through my Pirate Ship History and pick someone .... hmmmmmmmm

I was looking for some sort of participation though ... maybe I'll do something involving any SWAG I use to put in the pedal boxes ...

I use to give away picks ..... magnets .... cool aluminum Business Cards ... shit like that ... now I usually put these little toys that are left over from my girls grandkids birthday party .... lol

I don't like it personally ..... it has a digital Belton Reverb Brick in it .... which sounds great .... but utilizing it with the PT2399 chip .. well ... it does the vol drop thing a little bit when using it in the loop ...... and that's the biggest reason I don't do " digital " besides the " coke can " effect I like to call it ...

That's not fair across the board I don't think ..... not everyone is setup to record .... I don't care if someone can only play Happy Birthday on guitar .... as long as they're playing guitar / bass ...

Me and you should talk a little bit soon as I was thinking about something along those lines for the Christmas season myself.

well now that I'm not allowed in the classifieds .... I've decided to start my own Youtube Channel and will be putting up a web page

I just need to get someone over to my place to help me set up to record .... I have a two notes captor and some other stuff for recording ...

but other than doing simple tracks on Reaper .... I'm kind of lost ..... it's a whole other world for me ..... one that I don't have much time for

I was looking at a Fryette IR deal last night .... almost pulled the trigger .... but then I saw the Powerstation .... and said to myself .... would that help me more or less .... cause I've wanted one for a while ..... that's where I'm lost ..... I need some current gear .... my Captor is 8 years old now ..

I know I want to do IR's ..... but man .... the info is overwhelming and I only have so much space upstairs in the file cabinent if you know what I mean ...

I have an interface ..... I actually run my computer into a PA system in my shop ..... so I can pretend I'm Joe Satch playing over Youtube tracks at full volume ....

It would probably be cheaper to grab a mic, stand, and cable and just mic your cab though. That is what i do.

When i had a line out, i would use it with two notes software.
