Should i trade my Triamp Mk2 for a Wizard Modern Classic?

I've never played a Quickrod but the Triamp is a great amp (I still have a Lifeson). But again, it's no where near as open or full sounding as the Wizard. A lot of amps i've had have a lot of bottom end but it's an unnatural kind. It reminds me of the sound of putting an EQ in the loop and boosting all the bass frequencies. It isn't balanced. The Wiz is full but all the frequencies are right where they should be. As for the bleed i'm not sure what to do. With an attenuator i can get a usable clean and dirty combo. I may just send it back to Rick as there's really no techs in my province that have a sniff what they're doing. He said if i pay the $350 to get a loop he will do all the other updates at no charge.....which seems reasonable. I just hate shipping amps.

I've seen a lot of people bash great amps like the TriAmp MK II and the Splawn Quick Rod. Then I watch how they "dial in" the amp, and what speakers they use, and I understand why. If you can't sound good with either of these amps... We'll, there's always bass...

Ok, so you like every amp on ther market? Meh...lame
