Its not the most practical but I dont gig and I wanted to make it look nice. I built about a 1 1/2" step for the middle row so it were easy to push without hitting any of the other pedals..
Mine's a slab of pine shelving screwed onto a piece of 2" hardwood trim on front. A couple of "L" brackets underneath for support & stability. Drill a few holes, spray paint and you're done.

Shitty Cell Phone pic, I'll try to get more tomorrow. 3/4" plank of wood, 20x38" Large rubber feet on the rear bottom, and small feet on the front bottom to give it an angle. 3/4" U Channel, Velcro top, 3 handles, and a microphone stand mount. Took me about an hour to build.
Wow Jim ..... that looks like the board I have been trying not to build. Hence the rack not being done. Mine when done well be a wa , GCP and two expression pedals.
Checkout Ikea's "gorm" shelves. I have the smallest, that is about 12" x 19". They have different sizes. It cost $3. I think the biggest is about $7 or so. It has three boards with spacing to run cables under and up to the pedals; not tall enough to put power underneath (well, except my 1 spot power cord). Good price, solid wood, pine or spruce.
