Shredding a solo for the new Contrarian... All Helix

Quickie...

I went in cold the other day to get off some off the cuff solos. I purposely didn't go in with a single written solo. I did not keep this take FWIW, but it was a decent take. I used Helix for my rhythms and solos

It is. I always look forward to hearing his tracks come back. I refuse to do my parts till the drums are done. His style is very different with Contrarian. A bit more dynamic than constant blasting.

I've only met him twice though, despite being in a band with him for like 6 years now. I only get to see him and talk to him if Nile comes into town. He does all his recording in Athens. Super nice guy.
