i'm specifically looking for 700-1,000 dollar alternatives for super strats,24 frets, good pups/fret wire and trems
any ideas besides ibanez etc?
thanks!

You could do the Washburn N24. It's a reissue of the N3.

I don't remember if it has 22/24 frets though.

You can pick up a used ESP MII in great condition for about that range. Super strat that plays really great. Assuming you don't need a fancy top.

Peavey HP special!
No longer made which is sad

Switchback guitars!! Find them on Facebook

Switchback looks interesting but how can those guitars be priced that low with him doing his own neck work and frets?

Try Carvin, just change out the pickups. Sorry, don't like carvin pickups much....

Been to the shop a few times because i am a long time friend of Mike. Trust me. Mike is building some really nice stuff! Put it to you this way... I own a Suhr that retails at almost 6 grand. I love it dearly. However my next guitar will be a Switchback

PRS SE Custom 24 is a "decent" guitar in the lower end of that budget range, but if you can stretch a couple hundred more than your max, I'd look at the PRS S2 line

I have 2 Suhr moderns & 3 Carvins.

My Suhrs are amazing guitars, but the Carvins are just as good in every single aspect.

The only difference is that Carvin's cost about 1/2 the price.

I like everything about the Carvins except the neck profile. I really dig the big chunky necks you can order on Anderson's and Suhrs. G&Ls are okay but I've had QC issues with them in the past.
