Shur Iso Line out...

Transparency? Loss of highs?

IT'S A SPEAKER-LEVEL SIGNAL.

I can see a great new business opportunity, TRUE BYPASS iso boxes. Works best with Monster cable!

yeah, the more cables and connections you have can change things... its not necessarily the box itself, which is only one potential factor. Agreed on the safety issue as well.

And I don't use monster cables because they roll off too many highs for my taste.. others like higher capacitance cables, not me

I think some folks need to reread this thread and the manual.

OP: the manual clearly says you can use any available speaker jack to tap the line out. If your amp has only one, you have to insert the ISO box between the amp and the cab. But if you have more than one (which you do), you run one directly to the speaker and the other to the ISO box.

If you're really in doubt, you can call Suhr, but I don't see any other plausible interpretation of that manual.
This is correct, you can use any speaker tap. With a load box your amp doesnt have to be connected to speakers, but with a line out it does (but you dont have to use the same speaker out).

I reread the manual and it does seem to say you can use any speaker out as long there is a load on at least one jack and others here have said you could. So I for shits and grins last night did a little test. Plugged guitar straight in and no ISO in line between cab and head. Played for about 5-10 minutes to get the tone in my head. I then put the ISO in line between my head and cab using two speaker cables where one is one from Lava Cables and the other is some brand I'm not sure what. Anyway there was no change in tone. I even went back to no ISO in line to make sure. No change. None. I never even tried it by tapping off the unused speaker jack because there is absolutely no need.

cool... thanks for the report on that.. I ordered one last night.

I used mine at a gig last Sunday. Ran it from a princeton into a delay and another Fender. Killed and changed nothing tonally. Great unit.

Oh man, those things change the tone terribly.
 No they don't if used properly for the intended purpose

I know Rogue personally and he was joking but he didn't make it too clear that he was. He's actually a huge Suhr fanboi..... his wife told me he sleeps with his Koko boost under his pillow just to keep it warm. You don't want to know what he does with the Koji. :scared:

The Koko is the king of pedals. Not only does it sound good, it's unbelievable that the buttons and knobs are not sticky by now.

After you doing 42 gigs a week, 168 marathon hours a week tweaking the Koko, and working with thousands of people across the globe to set up their Koko... I'd have to say you have enough forum cred to be able to make that claim.
