When: 11/3/07

Where: Austin, TX. Specific venue is still being researched, but there are several candidates.

What: A chance for Texas area forumites to get together and show off their amps, as well as experience amps that are not readily available in your local music shops. As we all know internet clips are great, but nothing compares to blasting the amp with your own guitar in a non sales floor environment.

If you plan on attending please respond below, and list the gear you will be bringing.

I'll be bringing my '87 Marshall 2555 Jubilee with matching cab, Analog Man modded/LordOVChaoS fixed TS9, Vox AD60VTX (for you guys that haven't experimented with modelers yet), and several guitars. If anyone is interested I can also bring a Silverface Pro-Reverb. If everyone is looking for high gain, I'll just leave it at home.

I will be there with the stuff in my sig. My Splawn should be here in a few weeks.
 
I know you're looking at a non sales floor environment, but would anyone be against me loading a truck and trailer up and driving down there w/ a ton of stuff for everyone to toy w/?

I think the general consensus is you should definitely come out! I've been looking at a Traynor for a while now to have a grab and go tube combo. Would love to try one out. :)

i live in sa and i can bring an xtc and some old marshall thing...74sl

if josh shows up...i'll cut my credit cards in half... :lol: :LOL:
 
I'd like to go since I'm in Austin, but my band is playing Friday and Saturday nites that weekend, If ya'll like to come see us play, Kurt from DRI is our singer...it'll be our very first shows...
 
Hey Scott, if you'd like to come earlier in the day you're more than welcome.

I'm looking to catch some live music that night as my wife and I will be staying overnight in Austin (assuming I find somewhere to stash my gear besides the hotel room). :doh:
 
There's a few of us who live here, I'm sure Cesar and I would be willing to stash the stuff...
 
I would love to be there but my band is playing out of town that night...that sucks. :thumbsdown:

I may try and get that show changed...I have a ton of stuff people might dig to play on plus I would love to check out all the other stuff that will be there.

Ah, I'd like to go. I'll bring the Cauble Super50/100 & a recto 4x12. Maybe the Marshall 4140 combo, too. A vintage MXR Phase 90, D+, and a CE-1.
 
I can make it! will bring spider valve I pre ordered 212 combo :) it's not high end but I'm sure some folks would like to give it a try without going to the noisey GC
