This is what it looks like in original shape. A technician have opened it up before for servicing but no major changes has been done.

And here it is cleaned from the old parts.

I’ve installed some new boards to build up the new preamp, power amp and new power supply circuit on. I’ve installed three extra preamp tubes as well since this will become a tre channel amp that will have a lot of distortion available.

And here we have the final result:

It’s a three channel amp where the three footswitchable channels are totally independent and have their own: gain, volume, bass, middle, treble, three-way-bright switch and a gain boost switch. The power amp has two footswitchable master volumes, a presence- and punch-control who both have a 3-way range switch for matching the sound to different cabs. And of course it has a tube buffered effects loop. With a B+ of 610VDC it delivers way more than 100 watt from the four EL34.

And of course some clips:

I'm using a Greco EGF 1000 straight into the amp.

I'm using a Fender Stratocaster straight into the amp.

Trying to play some metal on my old Hagstrom Swede :D

Here is a clip that I recorded with an iPhone 4S to capture how it sounds in the room.

Seriously. Killer. Tones. I'd love to play through one!!

My bro in Austin used to flip amps like a mofo. Then he ordered one of these amps. Pretty sure he hasn't bought anything since.

I've been watching these for more than a year now. Always amazed.
