I think I'm going to move away from the rack processor does all and just go with stomp boxes. Currently, I'm using a TC G-Force. I have a bunch of great OD/distortion type pedals and a good wah. I only need a chorus, delay and reverb. I'll run the chorus, delay and reverb through my amps serial loop.

So, which chorus, delay and reverb do you guys recommend?

I can highly recommend the MXR Carbon Copy. Its so... Musical.

Depending on how much you want to spend on single pedals, I can recommend to check out the empress super delay.
I don't know about reverb pedals, but maybe check out the T-rex roommate and the malekko spring chicken.

Tech21 has some cool reverb and delaypedals, too.

To get a good overview, go to proguitarshop.com and check their demos - really cool stuff!

And...

..stomp boxes are great

Stick with the G Force for those effects and run pedals for other effects... Just my .02

that's exactly what i just did mate

got away from the rack and back to the pedals on the floor

i like the DD-20 and MXR carbon copy for delay

I've been using a Digitech CF7 chorus factory in the loop of my Boogie MKIV for three years now. I dig it. You have a few different models to choose from and it doesn't suck tone.

Hey,
I just did a very simple pedal board just because I couldnt stand slipping on the floor anymore when I went to click a pedal on or off. I run a W/D/W rig using the G force for my main effects. You cant beat the reverbs in the G force, so I wouldnt bother picking up a reverb pedal. I bought a Trailer trash board and run my wah and then a timmy od pedal. Then I have my midi baord and amp switchers on the rest of the baord. I really love the Timmy OD pedal and as far as a wah I bought one that project x built for me. He is on this forum. Best wah I have used.

This is very similar to what I am doing. Running a G Force and H3000 in a line mixer for the wet signal. This covers delays, verbs, and most other post effects. Have a Trailer Trash Board with GCP, Keeley Compressor, Tonefreak Severe, Whirlwind Phase, CAE Wah and Peterson Tuner.

To the original poster there is not a right or wrong, the above may seem like a lot but when it comes to reverb and delay the TC and Eventide units are so far ahead of any floor unit for those types of effects. Throw the Axe FX in there as well in regards to quality verbs and delays. This of course is just my opinion as others have presented options for the pedalboard that are solid and will work if you decide to go that route.

I would keep the G Force, especially if you purchased new as you will take a loss and may end up wishing you still had some of the effects it offers, especially verbs and delays!!

For chorus, I would check out the Jacques Meistersinger, its not stereo, but is a great mono chorus. For reverb, I would get the Digitech Hardwire RV-7, very impressed with this pedal. Not sure what to recommend on the delay. The TC electronics Nova Repeater looks cool.

Also, the Tech21 boost delay and boost reverbs are worth checking out.
