Can't fucking fake this. Camera audio, real time, a handful of little slips here and there, amazing performance, no cuts.

The next time any of y'all think Misha Mansoor or Tammy Hansen is legit, I want you to watch a track from this, because it's what peak performance looks like

Dude this was my shit back in the day . Practiced his shit fir technique . Dark Matter has his craziest licks also he’s best song .
Under the Infkuence is fun to play but no whete as hard as dark matter

Note how there are no camera cuts, no after effects, no nothin', just shredding

Not miming along

Not a "play along"

An actual guitarist playing actual guitar
Yeah. And a child in the back making some goofy faces and noise at beginning. I can barely watch tv with other things going on. I’ll say this with all respect to Rusty; What he is doing is way harder than me operating on people and I fix aneurysms and shit. My profession is easy compared to what he is doing in that video. Hats off and a bow.

You smoking crack ? I can play his shit but couldn’t balls off right or cut a hole for some new fake titties . Let alone blood vessels work

Not a big fan or anything, but he's an absolute unit on guitar. Super nice guy too!
Came here to say the same thing. I remember in the early days of the internet discovering him while listening to audiocast (anyone remember real player), anyway, Rusty got asked what were you doing before the call and just said: cleaning up and vacuuming my apartment. Very down to earth and genuine dude.

I haven't followed him through the years, what he is doing these days? I don't see his name popping much compared to other players of that era.

I bought one of his instructional dvds from way back when.It has some nice " out there" exercises and stuff on it.
I remember he had a column in guitar player magazine too.
