I read about him in a Guitar Player magazine a few years ago, liked the idea of an acoustic guitar in the power trio rock context but never actually heard it.
It really does sound like an electric with the ultimate tone sometimes.

Monte puts on a hell of show.

I try & catch a show every time I'm in Austin, or when ever he is in houston. Its a great show to watch & try to learn how he does what he does on the acoustic.

Ya he can get great tones out of his set.
