Since we sorted out that the 2203 circuit is the simplest, best amp ever made...šŸ˜…

... that needs no additional equalizer in the mix and still cuts through and is basically the Godfather of everything that followed, we can finally look at mastering.

Which one do you prefer? Use Headphones and compare to: for comparison reasons and then go straight back to @hellzington 's Bogner Clip for the funky cool new Amp. Congrats, btw. Will you keep it? Ah, and i can totally get why a 2203 for 2800 isn't as appealing in the US, compared to a used one for like 1200 Bucks in Europe, when the Boutique-Stuff doesn't cost much more than a 2203 in the US. Ok, maybe except for the Wizards :D

Guess i ate a joke, or 2. ;) Where's Methdeth when you need him?

Amp Volume was very low.

The trick is getting the tone at 0.6/10 when the master is actually set to 4/10. You’ll notice a stock 2203 brings mids and frequencies forward that actually aren’t friendly to downtuned metal and instead moreso hard rock without double boosts and active EQs.

Marshall’s are great amps but they aren’t perfect and need a lot of help to bring the goods at band levels.

This. They are great but their shortcomings are the reason all these boutiques exist in the first place.

On a similar note, I think I'll write a review for Car & Driver magazine about the new Ferraris. Not that I've driven one but for having seen them put put around on a test track

Jubilees are pretty awesome.

I like my 2204 and 2203 ( modded) as well.

Call me crazy.

I love the 2203 circuit. I built my own and it will probably be buried with me....lol...
