ok, here is the Singtall Axe-fx Superpack download link:

this is my first stab at presets, so it's free to the public for now. at some point the superpack will be available by donation only. if you already have my eleven rack superpack, you will also get the axe-fx superpack as a "thank you" for supporting me when i really needed you.

there are currently 49 presets in the pack as of today.

ya know, i hate to say it, but.....i don't think anybody really used the std/ultra to it's full potential. but i plan to. i ain't paying $2500+ for the version II, that's for sure. and i don't think the std/ultra are old news. coming from an eleven rack, this thing kills!

i'm just hoping to provide some other users with some killer presets, because i haven't found many out there.....which is a shame really. i think that too many users just tried everything with a shotgun approach in ten seconds and moved on. nobody has taken the time to really dig in, and if they did, they sure ain't sharing/selling presets.

I prefer the ultra....I have 2 ultras and a II

To me the no1 thing is to use other IR's that was the thing that made my presets start sounding great

The II is just turning into a PITA
axe-edit doesn't work, every FW upgrade the sounds completely change ...its getting cluttered with crazy deep parameters which the average guitar player wouldn't even know what they were
(majority are fancy names for EQ IMO)
and the USB is pretty much useless to me because I record at 44.1


I'm picking up a kemper pretty soon and very excited by that

Just messing with ya The std/ultra are still great & can sound very good for sure.

The Axe-II is better on pretty much every level though. It is bonehead simple to get great sounds on the 2 without having to touch anything but the most basic tone knobs.

The price of the Axe-II is $2199 direct from Fractal, not $2500+ as you claim. You are obviously talking about eBay prices!

If you are very good at creating presets/patches you will get a lot more attention If you are creating them for the Axe2. Just a fact....

yeah, i was talking ebay prices, didn't look at fractal's prices.....i presumed they were the same.

the II might be better, but i see a whole lot of complaining about the updates. it's good to see updates, but if it jacks up your tone, then it ain't good. the ultra is a mature product that will not get any more updates, so anything i do on it will still be good for years to come. hopefully, i can save up for the II and make enough good presets to have my ultra be worth something when i sell it one day. but i'm in no hurry, i'll wait until the II is getting mature before i bite.
