yeah i need to get rid of some things. Or a job with more hours. been thinking of parting with my candy apple red mia fender lone star Oh the gas....

bstaley i just have to say great demo and amazing playing. Wish I had these vids/demos when I started getting into Egnater, I would have made my decision in hrs and not days or weeks,lol.

If you had noise you were using bad parts or didn't do a great job soldering. Mine isn't any noisier. Neither is either of jasons. It's only a probleM
with your gear.

i've played five different sl2x's with some being back to back to a sl2 stock. No noise added. Couldn't disagree more. Saying how easy it is to get oscillation with the modules I bet it was with how your caps were put in.

The sound you have in the ACDC walk all over you reminds me ALOT of the the opening chord riff of the Scorps tease me ,please me which I think is one of the best tones ever .

.actually most of the tones you get on the A ch sounds very open and a lot like the Crazy world album ..killer sounds

Mine is not noisy either. Ive used it at gigs with the volume cranked and its pretty quiet.

I stand corrected guys. I tried a new cermaic cap thikning that might be it......still an issue but I was testing the module with just the PCB board. After I attached the base plate, it was fine so it was a grounding issue. D'oh! Sounds good now!

I knew something had to be up man. Glad you figured out what was causing it. All the SL2X's are just as quiet as every other high-gain module I've tried.

Do you mean you stick it in the module slot, just the PCB board?

Probably not a good idea...

I've had noise issues when I was lazy one day and didn't tighten the thumbscrews... you need that metal from the module chassis to touch the amp chassis, to complete the grounding, right?
