I love Slash. Once I fell asleep listening to Velvet cranked up looped on headphones (xanax) and it played for ten hours and I lost some hearing .

That's how much I love him.

You should of sued.

Tuned out at 1.30 min mark. That is just horrible derivative shit!

Slash rolled back his sell out prices. lol

Any time guitar based rock and roll becomes more popular with the masses, I'm a fan.

It's not hip hop, not rap, not a DJ claiming to be a musician.

It's all about $$$$$

It always has been. They were just better at hidiing it. Hell, even the Stones are scalping their own tickets these days.

You can see Slash, buy hotdogs, underwear, a jelly donut and three boxes of ammo.

That rocked. Perhaps the lifetime supply of laundry detergent swayed him

"Attention Wal-Mart shoppers, there's a hippie on isle 5."

"Attention Wal-Mart shoppers, we are sorry, but Slash has just sold out."

Slash will play anywhere for money.

At what point really are money and fame selling out? There isn't an artist alive who hasn't gotten into a rut creatively. Some people, like Bowie (is the only person who comes to my mind) keep reinventing themselves.

An artist is fortunate if they have a large artistic vocabulary and they do not become limited too quickly by their style. The more definite style an artist has, the quicker is the fame and fortune, but then also the quicker is their saturation of the market and consumer tiredness.

Fact is not many people on Earth could name themself Slash and get away with it.

On the other hand, the last album was pretty commercial and it didn't have the greatest licks and I am not loving this singer.

I would like to hear Slash do some hard rock/bossa nova.
