RESIDENT ROCK PROFESSOR
Impressive for a new band but they bore me to death . What you think ?
I’ve really tried . They have some good parts but their fits . Makes me sleepy . Maybe if they mixed the guitars louder so it was heavier I could get into moreSaw them on their US run last year. Great show. I enjoy their music, and how they can jump styles so seamlessly. However, I can understand how they are not everyone's cup of tea...
I agree . But they sound sleepy . I’ll put them at bed timei checked them out after a chick i know was pissed she went to get tickets and it was sold out, i dont know if its something id listen to on the reg but i get the appeal and its cool to see any kind of new band selling out arenas

Will also add that this totally smells of secondary market upcharge scheme.
This is happening throughout all popular arena tours. Live nation et al, bumping up and increasing profits.
Exactly lolSo it's not just a clever name....
They just have some deuchness at times , like Justin beiber with a slow 4/4 meshugah riff underneath . I’m still trying to listenI've been recently trying to listen and give them a chance due to the immense hype. I think the band has moments of greatness, but they are so eclectic that it has become borderline stressful to listen to. Never before have I listened to a song that is ballad, hip hop, R&B, pop, rock, metal, and jazz within 4-7 minutes of content.
I'm used to putting on tunes based on the kind of mood I'm in, but with Sleep Token you're getting everything in nearly every song. I remain impressed, because they are talented song writers in all of these categories, but it's kind of like ordering a pizza with 12 toppings.
Which makes them the perfect for what I am talking about. It happens with all the popular acts. Tickets go on sale ..boom sold out. They do have almost 6 million monthly on Spotify, that’s definitely an at least small arena sized band
The newest single Emergence has grown on me. There's nothing really groundbreaking about it, but it's got some serious emotion going on, and that seems to be sorely lacking in a lot of new music. Kudos to them for being real artists, love it or hate it.Ok I’m starting it to like it .lol I think I just started to like what I hate

With other acts, fans report being in queue and then there are no tickets....and then they pop up on the secondary market, at an increased cost.
Happens all the time. Because they know that someone will pay, because it's a popular act.
That’s the one I liked . It’s a tad slow with repeating parts tooo much . That’s what I don’t likeThe newest single Emergence has grown on me.
