Slipknot 25th anniversary reissue

Is this a remix or just a remaster ? Usually not impressed but I think this sounds bigger more space around the guitars . I’m might be just thining it lol . But fr it sounds better for once imo . Also this is not in my top 3 Slipknot albums .

It does sound bigger to me and the low end seems tighter. That album was such a breath of fresh air for me. I was 29 years old and in the passenger seat of my bass player's monster truck and he puts that on. Blew my mind how heavy it was and looking at the cover was like looking at KISS Alive II when I was 8.

As grunge was ending and there was this new metal stuff, Slipknot was perfect timing.

Man I always thought the track was saying “the hulk said I think it’s shit” and “pick up the pace” lo f’ing l!

That track sounds way bigger than I remember. Guitars are more “blergy” if that makes sense.

I loved this album when it came out - think I was 13 or so. Hell I remember finding some supposed cover that slipknot had done on Limewire of a Grateful Dead song (definitely was not them). Ah memory lane.

I’m definitely going to have to give this one a spin again! Stoked!

Still listening . Holy shit even the weird songs like Only One sound really fucking tight at times .

Yeah I think it is the low end. Hey, they always say low end can ruin recordings. Those guitars need to stand out because they have always had great guitar tone.
