Been wearing this album out for a while now.

Always loved Norum's stuff. But never had his newer stuff (Total Control was as new I had until recently).

What a bitchin' player (AND vocalist)! He's right up there with Sykes as two of my favorite living rock players.

Don't forget to get Face The Truth.

Don't have that one [yet]. Thanks! Will do!

Other album I have besides "Total Control" and "Slipped Into Tomorrow" is "Optimus". Need to listen to that one more. Hasn't grabbed me like Slipped did.

Face The Truth and Slipped Into Tomorrow are KILLER!! But to be honest, you really can't go wrong with anything by John Norum :rawk:

Could not agree more! I've never heard ANYTHING from him that I didn't care for. Which can't be said for everyone. I put him, Sykes, and Gary Moore in a similar category, in that they can/could all sing, had chops galore, and were/are SO tasty with their chops. I gotta say though, Norum is an unsung hero... because outside of places like this you don't see his name mentioned much. But I totally put him up there with the other two.
