It sounds awesome even being a rough recording and even WITH white people!  Do you boost your SLO?

Thanks, man. It was boosted, just can’t remember if it was the OCD or EP Booster.

Cool. That's interesting. I have an Xotic EP booster but for me it makes the low end and low mids a little too wooly with the SLO. Does the OCD cut the lows a little? I've never tried an OCD. I have really been loving both the crunch and overdrive channels of my SLO using a stock SD-1, Maxon OD808, or Keeley Red Dirt depending on my mood. All three of those cut the lows to varying extents and tighten things up. I love my SLO boosted with the crunch channel gain on about 7 and the overdrive channel gain at about 3.

I hear you about what the EP Booster does to the low end. I do like how it saturates the front though. The OCD (in LP mode) is cleaner on the low end and doesn’t cut the lows much. I’m on the lookout for something better to goose the front. I liked both pedals with my Bassman, though. I only use a boost for the more rocking stuff we play.

You might consider dialing the bass back on the amp if you're using the EP Booster.

So much for being a one-trick-pony. Great sound and also great groove!

No, I’m not going to use the EP Booster anymore on the lead channel. Like I said, I’m on the search for another OD. I don’t use a boost all the time, and I like the bass where it’s at.

I’ve got another short clip of us playing Hot in Here (I know, I know). I dare not post that here, though. :D I’m using a compressor on the crunch channel, volume way back, and I get a nice funk tone.

Yeah, that was the second time they came up. First set, too. They were hammered. My wife was trying film them stealth like.

Thanks man. I was only on 2 on the MV.

Sound great! I'm curios, where did you have your volume and gain set at on the controls?
