I have searched and found some roundabout answers but nothing solid so ill ask here.. I have a smallbox 50, on ch 2 the high gain channel I have the gain cranked but im still lacking the ability to nail legato notes smoothly. when I used an ada and a vht power amp I had the sustain and all I had to do was barley touch the strings and the notes came out with no effort. since switching to this amp its a lot harder and pretty much not there.. so,, do I need a sustainor or a boost or what? I use ch 1 for a clean, 2 for rythms and solos, just use my volume knob when not soloing to turn down a bit. so what will I need to get the ability to have what I mentioned above? Thanks.

Well everybody is different with this. The amp has a bit less gain then the BE channel on the 100 watt amp, every player has a different touch and some are able sustain notes longer then others. You might need a boost for this amp or I could mod it to have a bit more gain for you.
