Smoothest high gain amps?

My 60w IIC+/++ has the smoothest liquid feel/tone, so much it's unreal....

This is old, but Naylor is the smoothest high gainer I've played.
More so than the IIC++ I played, which was set up more for metal riffage.
SLO is pretty smooth, Naylor is smoother. Warmth perfected. One of the best lead amps, imo.

I have a 1995 SD60; very smooth and warm. My C+ is also smooth, not as warm....they are different but both darker/smoother than anything else I've played. They also have another commonality, which is unique...when turned up they become more open/raw while still maintaining the perfect amount of compression; I can see the Naylor being the perfect blues/rock amp...can do heavy with a boost. I have mine dialed in like an early ZZ Top tone; kick a boost on and its modded Marshall.
It also ranks right up there with all the great ones in the clarity dept. SLO is smooth but way more raw and open compared to the Naylor and Mesa IMO.

I've heard that the Naylor is smooth. Too smooth by some. Cornford MK50H II is smooth. Too smooth, IMO.

Smooth amps:

The amps that come to mind are-

1: Carvin Leagacy or Leagcy 3 are VERY smooth. The clean channel will not break up. Gain channels are dark and smooth. Great for leads.

2: Bogner Esctacy is very smooth and can be dialed in in many different ways.

3: The Orange Rockerverb is dark and smooth. Very warm clean channel and an amazing gain channel. Put an EQ in the fx loop for extra versatility.

4: Not the most common amp, but the Kasha Rockmod is also worth considering.

I agree with the Legacy. Might not be high end enough for OP, though..

RT is getting as snobby as TGP, anymore.

Rockerverb is a good call! Forgot about that one.
