It’s a shame really. Worst thing is we saw eachother at NAMM, he didn’t even acknowledge it AND had folks apparently coming to play the prototype at his room and didn’t even mention it to me.

Oh man I tried it with the VHT 2/90/2 and it sounds amazing!

That sucks, I've always liked KSR stuff - I think it's some of the best "modern" sounding high gain gear.

If I had a great deal on an Orion, Colossus, or something like that, I would probably already own one, but it hasn't popped up, and I'm leery of the communication issues.

That said, the Eros is a stable of my live rig - one of the best boost pedals I've ever owned. I can make it work with basically any backline amp, it's super versatile. This is my rig last night:

I've still got an original American made Prophesy in storage somewhere along with the Velocity 300 stereo power amp. That rig sounded so good.. I need to get it out and try it again. It sounded massive. I've heard the Voodu Valve "Witch Doctor" is the best sounding of all the Rocktron preamps.

Of course it has everything to do with it. The appetite for amps with 2 - 3 wait times is small, already bordering on unreasonibility. That market would disappear completely if an honest disclosure of 5 - 6 years was given. Which in itself is a good example of “moving the goalposts”

Gary, if you spent 1/10th as much time practicing guitar as you do bitching about Larry literally every second of waking life, you would probably be the greatest guitarist of all time :hys:
