I thought this thread was about Charvels? Vehicles are not relevant! :D

That flat black wild card is KILLING ME!!!!!! I want one so bad, but I'm not buying any more guitars... I'd trade my Blood Splatter for one though! :poke:

Steve,
You were supposed to have gone to the Corvette racing school at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch by now. Once you go to something like that, I'm telling you your whole perspective on everything changes. As Steve McQueen said, "Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting". He's right.

To get slightly more on topic though, I'm really dieing to check out your new Buddy Blaze guitar. If the import ones we played at NAMM are anything like the ones that are coming in, I don't think I've ever played something at that price point that was as shreddable.

Yup everything except the machine shop work. Couldn't afford it any other way. Ill put up a photo page of the build when I'm done. Lots of fab work brackets, exhaust, etc... Car porn.
Carbs, race headers, and straight through exhaust. Time to give those Harley riders on my street some payback at 4AM!

You are a better man than me. I couldn't afford it any other way if I didn't do almost everything on my car myself either. One of my best friends is a high end Porsche mechanic that mainly does race motors for people all over the world. So when I do need something he always hooks me up.

Chubtone makes me wish I was man enough to play a Charvel....
I'm so used to this Ibanez I got that has the easiest neck in the world to play. The heel joint is ultra slanted and I never have to struggle on it.. It feels a lot like this:

I've played your Ibanez and I felt tendonitis setting in after about 3 minutes. That one is more like this :D :

I can't imagine wanting to do anything more than music, but I could see how it would be addicting...

I gotta say, I really dig it and the BlazeBucker actually sounds really good considering how high the output is. I dig the shorter 24 5/8" scale - it is great for people that have hand problems like I do... YMMV...

I'm taking the whole week off next week to finish my amp and check out my new Cameron CCV. I'm definitely bringing my amp to the shop when it is done for you guys to check out, so I'll bring the Blaze as well...

Sounds like you are going to have a fun week.
No doubt and I turn 50 next week as well! No work! Soldering, testing, burn-in and tweaking on my amp... Cranking my amp and the CCV with no one at home... Beers... Maybe some clips (if I have time)??!! Whoohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to see and hear your completed amp. I also am curious about what you think of the CCV. :)
I've played the CCM before and loved it, so I'm looking forward to the CCV. All the clips of it have been great. I love the degree of saturation on the Camerons for some stuff I like to play. My amp will be voiced differently - I'm looking forward to comparing and contrasting!

Remember the first time you kissed a girl? You probably couldn't imagine wanting to do anything more than that. It's probably close to about that much of a difference. No kidding.

and stealing!

Not unless he wants to rip the amp completely apart and completley unsolder all of the controls, etc. The board is upside down and you can see anything or make anything out without lifting the board...and everything is wired on top of the upside-down board.

That sounds like something that would facilitate construction and repair. :D
