Not to sound like an ass, but GC gives their credit cards away. Does this dude not have credit of any kind? Why not just get something nice, if he indeed winds up with a better option within the return policy window, then just take it back.

On that note, re-sell is at an all time low, if you are in the amp buying business this is the Perfect time to visit classified sections of online boards. It's sad seeing the prices some of these prized amps are going for right now.

My Main amps are Diezel and Boogies with a 12u rack. I just bought on a whim the Bugera 1990 for $199. Thats like the price of a pedal so I was curious on a $200 tube amp. I really wasnt expecting much. Got it today and to be honest it sounds pretty damn good. I wouldnt trade it for my main amps but I didnt pay $200 for them either. I have played some places in the past that I wish I had this thing and not had to bring anything thats worth $$. I have read some horror stories about reliability issues but as far as sound goes this thing sounds so much better than a lot of Line 6 stuff I have heard. I had my buddies Vetta for a few months when he got off tour with it and this thing sounds better than that. I would use this over any Pod strickly going by sound. Again, reliability is a separate issue that I cant comment on, but for $200 the sound is worth it. YMMV ;)

He ended up snagging the bugera 6262, and after setting it up with the rest of his rig it sounds alright except channel switch pop that like shit. I can hear the chords i'm playing over again, and that's what i cared about.

Good! Hopefully it works out now and in the future as a backup when he gets the Mesa back.
