So I pulled some Ibanez Jems out of the closet today....

And this is what I came up with.....

FYI the SK is really hard to photograph. It is not faded at all, but it was like 95 degress outside so I didn't want to bring it out. I swear when I pulled it out of the case it hurt my eyes just a bit because its so BRIGHT! The VBK has some reflections from the room that I didn't notice when I was taking the pics.

My 7PBK isn't pictured because its in pieces right now and the body is in CA being refinished.

You have pretty much all of them lol! Do you have a favorite or are they all pretty consistent?
 
I've only got about half of them. I'm kinda partial to the white one because that was the first one that I got like 7 years ago, but they're all awesome.
 
I have always wanted an FP, and I should have jumped on the VSBL when they were blowing them out new for $999!

I still have all my PGMs, but I have sold off almost all my RGs.

Awesome collection...I'm a big fan of Jems. That said I find them hugely inconsistent from a tonal standpoint. My BFP has the exact same woods and electronics as my LNG but just walks all over it IMO (although the LNG is case queen so it hasn't been "played in" like the BFP). I have a line on a PMC but the owner keeps waffling about selling it.
 
Ibanezes, you have many of them :D Any group shots of the whole collection?

+1 this was my experience as well. my prestige kicked my Jem's ass in tone, it was no contest.
 
Damn!!!!..... I used to be a huge Ibanez Junkie but I cant see to play them very well anymore...

I'm not a fan of the PAF Pros, which is what the older Jems came with. The only one that still has the PAFs is the pink one. The rest have either Tone Zones, Evos, or a Super 3. I've also got an RG3120, which I actually play more than any of the Jems. With the Jems its more of an OCD thing for me. :doh:
 
I've got an '88 FP and an original VSBL--only thing that would "complete" my collection would be a BFP and maybe an SK.

VERY nice collection!!!
 
Awesome collection, I think the BFP is still one of my favorite guitars Ibanez has ever produced
 
nice looking Root Beer, I had one years ago that was much darker and not so pretty.
 
My root beer is much lighter than ones I've seen lately.
