This one has a see through black oil finish. All it basically needs is hardware, electronics, nut, and setup and it is ready to go.

And then the original one I have had on order forever. This one has some of the sickest quilt I have ever seen. It has been hoit with a bit of black to make the grain pop under the finish that it will get. It is getting a tiger's eye burst gloss finish.

impressive. those will be some great looking guitars. what color hardware is going on them ?

I think you are very very trusting here for giving even more money for guitars that are "almost finished" but have waiting so long to be completed...

Those are gonna be some badass instruments when they are finished... What are the delivery dates?

No doubt, but after hanging with Bernie for the day and also feeling these guitars, I feel confident. The necks on these guitars are so badass. Most comfortable neck I have ever felt on a 7 by far.

The oil finish one will be done in a few weeks. My other one has quite the paint job going on it so it will be longer. 45 days or so.

awesome wood on that baby! iy'd gonn a so sick when completed. please upload pics when you get it home.

Those are so sick man. Really wish I could afford a BRJ. Congrats!

I will handle the showcasing...

Dude.

That top is unreal! It looks 3D  So Jealous. I hope you do come to CO so I can possibly put my hands on one of these bad boys (if possible).

I made the "mistake" of visiting his shop (B.C. Rich back then) in Hesperia in the late 90's. Ended up ordering a flying V. It was the first one to ever have a widow headstock. Trans black on a flamed top. Awesome guitar, wish I still had it actually. Rented a convertible for the drive from San Diego and got sunburnt to shit   Got to meet Bernie Sr before he passed away which was a real pleasure. Wish I could afford his guitars now. That V ran me $1600 back then and would now probably be over 3K to order

I thought I was going to see a pic of a bloody Bernie with you holding a blackjack

Congrats, they both look awesome!

Would have been if it weren't for what I saw when I was there and the ridiculously badass deal I got on that 2nd guitar...

Nah, it was cool to meet Bernie and shoot the shit. He is a funny dude, just slow at getting guitars made.

WOW! Both are just beautiful!! I just love seeing top's like those!!

Congrats Jason, Im a HUGE Mockingbird fan but have never owned one. I have to change that one of these days...
