It was kind of a cold rainy weekend in Honolulu so maybe the equivalent to a nice sunny day in Oregon lol. Finally got to mess with my Dunwich Amps Tyrant pedal which is a pretty good HM2 clone. It basically takes the Friedman out of my Butterslax and makes you want to play in drop C or something...

Weird video clips is from Tetsuo, the Iron Man (1989) and thru in some AIC-ish vocals which came out ok... wish I had Chris Cornell's voice   Enjoy!

Thanks man! My wife thought the vid was too much but that ending hahaha

That was awesome.... And the video was dope - I love that kazyass over-the-top Japanese style cinema - they've got so many warped shows...awesome stuff.

Now, a question - as per your post "basically takes the Friedman out of my Butterslax and makes you want to play in drop C or something..." I'm seeking clarification on what you meant by that.

As for the playing, immediately reminded me of Badmotorfinger and then blossomed into some definite AICs like toanz.

Nice

All pau,
Nicely done Braddah,
Mo

Thanks braddah Mo! *shaka*

Basically that Dunwich pedal liked most other Dunwich pedals just sound so phat and fuzzy sounding. Basically all the tight chugginess of the Butterslax channel 2 I was using disappeared and turned into this phat fuzzy sounding doom sound   Some of my friends don't see the appeal of an HM2 clone pedal but I dig all kinds of heavy sounding tones ;)

Here is a demo vid of the Dunwich Wizard Fuzz which will probably be my next pedal at some point... Sounds beastly to my ears.

Probably because they usually cost more than an used original?

They didnt even ask how much... buddy is more of a technical/thrash player.. he couldnt get over wanting to sound more like Celtic Frost or phat and fuzzy vs butterslax tight thrash tones... not for everyone.

What's your mastering chain?
I just have the built-in Reaper EQ in the master and EQ to taste really. I find myself just nudging the high's just a little most of the time. I never even went down the mastering path yet....
