lol. My gear is off limits for drinks. I've already had a drunk guitarist put his beer atop my bass amp and, not 5 minutes later, fall into it. We were rocking out, then someone asks, "what's that burning smell?" and I see steam coming out of my overturned amp.
He never reimbursed me or replaced it.
Fucking douche.

One time my singer was taking a swig between songs at a gig. He walked over and set his drink on top of my amp. I immediately picked it up as he turned to walk back to his mic. I set it down right behind him on the stage. Of course, during the next song, he knocked it over. He yelled "Who put that drink right there where it could spill?" I told him I was just doing exactly what he did. He got the message.
