I wouldn't be surprised if he did. But the playing in those clips helps alot too.

Hmm, and he deserves the complete loss of its value due to his "improvements" of a classic IMO. Bet that would make him happy!

Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should...but its his gear to do what he wants...

FWIW, If I had an original vintage (pre-65) Vox AC30 (OK, my DREAM amp ), I'd be looking for NOS tubes and original components in case it ever needed repair - it would always be stock and as original as I could keep it in total working order! If I want to screw with something, I'd make sure it isn't a classic in limited supply. Even if money wasn't an issue! But that's just me.

psychodave, its your amp to do with as you wish! Some mods can be removed and the amp can be restored to original, some can't without finding potentially hard to find replacement parts... that's where I'd probably draw the line if its a vintage model. to each their own though. If I had vintage gear, I'd keep it as original as possible to keep it in working order.

Fuck it i'd go all out Cameron style and add another channel on the back, 4 gainstages, voicing switches and a bass boost control... Just to see the look on peoples faces
