So the Rhythm Guitarist of Savatage Calls me

on bandmix, and wants to start a band. he was in savatage back in the mid-late 80's. he moved to NC from FL and saw my bandmix profile. i was like are you serious?

the only downside, was that i swore i wouldnt start another band/join one with anymore people 20 years older than me

i was a little skeptical because i could hardly believe it.

turns out, i ended up meeting him at the local guitar shop here in town called larries. everyone knows about it that plays music, he was having an EVH bridge pickup installed in a vintage jackson

what killed it for me, was that he carries a loaded 9mm by his side at all times, his wife is a cop, and he had 6 beers in army pocket pants

from what i have heard locally, he can play solos and stuff but its not spectacular. he was looking to be a rhythm guitarist for me, but i think im going to let this one slide.

Dude....maybe I am wrong....but I think he is full of shit. I call bullshit. Chris did have another guitarist tour with them during Edge of thorns but that was in 93.
He might have been a tech for savatage, but I don't think he was in savatage.

I saw savatage in 87, and it was Oliva and Cafferey. Gutter tour baby....they opened for Testament(Practice What You Preach Tour).
