So what was/is the verdict on the Diezel D-Moll?

Seems like several got sold rather quickly around here.

Half the people say it's awesome, the other half, well you can see their ads in the Classifieds

Does that help?

Classifieds? Bullshit. It's a hell of an amp. For most Diezel owners, it covers some common ground with the other amps. That's all.

Yeah, you can't go by the Classifieds, or EVERY new amp is a POS!

I'd actually really like to try a D-Moll. No interest in buying one though.

Same here, once you got a VH4, it's all variations on a theme
Herbert for brutal metal, Hagen for downtuned stuff? Einstein for a more traditional tone
What's the D-Moll for?
I don't see the point in owning more than one Diezel, try them all, pick a favorite

It's a variant of the higher end Diezel's. 2.5 channels (this is the only amp with a shared EQ) and with the mid-cut. Slightly less on the peripheral functions as the VH4 or Herbert. Lower price point than the others. Still retains all that is good with a Diezel.

Indeed, between a brand new D-Moll, Herbert or Hagen, I'm picking the D-Moll for its price
Until it hits the 2K$ mark used, I'll pass ;)

Yeah, let's base our opinions on how
many are for sale in the Classified's...
Bunch of Fuckin' Meathead's!!!!
Uneducated opinions, based on nothing...
Own one, then make a solid opinion.

BOTTOM LINE, FUCKIN' AMAZING AMP!!
Not mine but here's a Great Clip:

Hope you didn't really think anybody would assess an amp's quality using the number of said amps for sale in Classifieds

It's a Diezel...either you like them or you don't. I myself do not, but others (like yourself) love them. Some folks picked them up expecting something different and flipped them when they realized that they had the same Diezel tone and feel going on. Not a bad amp for sure, but not for everyone :)

The D-Moll is a great sounding amp, but it's still not on the same level as the VH4 or Herbert (it's priced lower for a reason). But, I think I the D-Moll sounds better than the Hagen, which I was quite disappointed with.

I honestly don't see the point in buying a Diezel unless you are going to buy the VH-4 or the Herbert... seems that people keep buying the other amps expecting them to sound like those classic two... I know I've done something along those lines...

...I haven't played the D-moll... was just an opinion, I owned the Hagen for all of 12 hours though :-P

I bought one it was nice, I prefer my 5150 mini to it though.. especially for the price.. .

Not the only Diezel with shared EQ. The Einstein's Channel 1 shares EQ between clean, mid-gain, and high-gain. The D-Moll came about because people wanted an Einstein but with the clean channel on its own and the gain channel with shared EQ/Modes. The D-Moll does this. People also wanted MIDI. The D-Moll does this. The way I look at it, the D-Moll is the Einstein's replacement. Which makes sense, since the Einstein has been discontinued.
