For those that own them....
I'm looking to pick up a new expression/volume pedal. Im going to try the Boss FV 500, but which version? L or H?
Also, these can be used for Volume and Expression at the same time via the different outputs right?

Depends on where in the signal chain you're putting it, if using as a volume pedal.

Never heard of anyone trying this, I wouldn't think so though.

I prefer the L. The H has stereo Vol control but it does not split the signal, might be better for keyboard stereo out to 2 amps.

It is NOT a stereo pedal.

Control: MINIMUM VOLUME knob
Connectors: INPUT jack, OUTPUT jack, EXP (Expression) jack, TUNER OUT jack

Sorry its the L, I prefer the H had to look at my board.

Which applications are the L and H versions best for as a volume? Is one better in front of the amp, and one better in the loop?

In general:

L -- as an expression pedal or in a loop
H -- if you're running in front of your amp (Possibly L, if you are using active pickups, or if after buffered low impedance pedals which may come before your volume pedal-in the chain)

Thanks Zachman. I was hoping you would reply considering your rig. I figured you'd know...
