I played one at Summer NAMM and liked it... just wish Peavey had better guitar to try it out with...

I tried it on the matching peavey 2x12 but I'm thinking it might sound even better on another cab.

I like the USA and direct receding features it has...

Thoughts?

wow... nobody!?

I actually expected them to sell a ton of them... ;)

I love mine for home use, run it through an orange ppc 1x12 with a v30 and it sounds great, great clean and edge of breakup tones, and the lead channel is killer, to be honest Im surprised there isn't more talk about them either...

maybe its fallout from that "under cover boss" thing and the fact lots of people don't like the idea of MIC?? I was waiting for them to be released to get one but a really cheap 5150iii came up so I hit that. Still wouldn't mind a mini though

The mini amp market is pretty crowded. If I hadn't picked up a Mesa ta15 before the mini 5150 came out, I would have considered it.

There is a guy on YouTube that says his clean channel on the 6505 mini has a loud hum on it?

He said he went to the store and tried a out two more and they both also had a hum on the clean channel?

Anybody else notice this?

Mine is fine....

I think this might be helpful to anyone who is considering this amp... still sounds good though for such a small compact size. Looks like clean does hum significantly on a lot (not necessarily all) of these amps. Also, some flub apparently if clean volume is pumped too high when you go to lead.

I watched the guys video above comparing the mark v mini and 6505 mini and liked the mark v for the clean and lead tones and the 6505 for the crunch and high can rhythm tones.

Sorry Moshaholic, i completely missed the link you had posted... no need for mine!

Im running mine on 5 watts at apartment levels but it sounds fine for what I use it for and for 450 bucks out the door Im digging it, for gigs I use my 5153 50 watt...
