Got this 2204 recently, only to discover that it's WAY loud for my basement needs. Go figure!
It's an '83, in almost mint condition, original trannys and choke, super clean, with new caps and adjusted to run EL34's (the correct way). I installed new Ruby EL34B STRs, JJ's, and an EH.
Amp works as it should, since it's one of the best Marshalls ever made! You know it, you love it. I just can't use it.
