Its a 50's Round Neck.
The profile is a superbly comfortable and fast rounded Studio 50s shape that measures .818 at the 1st fret and .963 at the 12th.

Probably an aversion to Richlite
got it on a full thickness Custom w/Floyd and love it
very even, perfect grip, great color
nothing lost in tone comp to ebony, which has no tonal benefit anyway
the full thickness body is way more significant and a big advantage over the Axcess
