They are pretty cool with celestions in them. They are light and easy to handle. SLO sounds better with Marshall cabs though.

I kept going back to the matching cab with x12000 speakers in my older SLO. He made a sweet match right there.

I hear what your layin down..my SLO was a '93 but it needed to be dulled down a little. I do know it didn't sound good through a bogner 4x12 with new v30's 
If you ever get the chance I'd like to know whats in there. My cornford sounded like shit through that cab but it really worked with my old slo.

Greatt with Soldance Eminence.
I put Scumbacks in a 2x12 and they are very good too.
